As we ease into autumn in Napa Valley, we’re still happily sipping on Leslie Rosé, a beautiful wine that proves to be a year-round indulgence. This wine is as whimsical as it is complex and serious, making it the perfect wine to bridge the gap between warm summer days to a refreshing, crisp fall. For those crisp, cool happy hours this season, combine your favorite autumnal fruit such as apples, pomegranate, and cranberry with cinnamon, apple cider, and brandy to deliciously capture the layered flavors of Frank Family’s Leslie Rosé. Makes 1 pitcher, serves 6-8.
1 bottle | Frank Family Leslie Rosé |
½ cup | apple cider |
¼ cup | brandy |
4 each | cinnamon sticks, plus extra for garnish |
3 each | apples, cored, quartered, and thickly sliced |
1 cup | pomegranate seeds |
1 cup | fresh cranberries for garnish |
- In a small saucepan, simmer cinnamon sticks and apple cider for 10 minutes and allow to cool completely. Transfer infused cider to a pitcher.
- Add brandy, Leslie Rosé, sliced apples, and pomegranate seeds, stir to combine and allow the fruit to marinade in the fridge for at least 1 hour and up to 1 day.
- To serve, fill the pitcher with ice and divide into glasses with plenty of fruit. Top with fresh cranberries and a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
