Frank Family Vineyards is honored to have been a sponsor of this year’s K9s for Warriors Salute to Heroes Gala. Taking place on February 7 in Ponte Vedra, Florida, the event successfully raised over $1.1 million, which will further the organization’s mission of saving lives on both ends of the leash.
These funds are vital for rescuing and training 37 service dogs and supporting 37 veterans, thereby positively impacting the lives of more than 74 individuals.
Since 2022, Frank Family has been a proud partner of K9s For Warriors, the largest provider of trained service dogs for military veterans in the country, as part of the winery’s “Frank for a Cause” charitable giving initiative. This partnership reflects Frank Family’s strong commitment to both the canine and veteran communities, while also honoring the memory of Hy Frank, founder Rich Frank’s father, who honorably served in World War II.
This year’s sponsorship will fund the rescue of 10 future service dogs, like Frankie, whom the winery sponsored in 2023. Last March, Frankie was paired with Army Staff Sergeant, Ryan, the program’s 1000th veteran. In just a year, Frankie has made an extraordinary impact on Ryan’s life, and their relationship beautifully showcases the deep bond that develops between a veteran and their service dog.
