As the saying goes, when one door closes another one opens. While we can’t be together to share a glass of wine in person, we are discovering many new ways to connect with each other digitally. Our goal is to recreate the Frank Family tasting room experience in the comfort and safety of your home through our newest experiential offering – virtual tastings. Saturday, March 28: Napa Valley Chardonnay , Pinot Noir, Cabernet Tasting Session 1
Our first virtual tasting focused on a lineup of our newly released 2018 Carneros Chardonnay and 2018 Carneros Pinot Noir as well as our fan-favorite 2016 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. We are so appreciative for all our members, friends, and fans for joining us, asking questions, and sharing how they tasted at home.

Saturday, April 25: Red Wine Lover’s Tasting
Your voice is being heard! Based on a poll from our first virtual tasting, the majority of you voted to taste Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel, so we are going to explore the soon-to-be-released 2017 RHF Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017 Chiles Valley Zinfandel, and 2016 Winston Hill. Virtually meet and taste with Winemaker Todd Graff and Assistant Winemaker Corey Garner as we dive into these three distinct Frank Family reds while discussing vineyard and winemaking practices, pairings, tasting notes – you name it. Saturday, May 2: Sparkling Wine Tasting
Sparkling wines were the first wines made at Frank Family Vineyards in the historic Stone Building as the former Hanns Kornell Champagne Cellars. We’ve carried on the sparkling wine tradition, still handcrafting sparkling wines today. Join Winemaker Todd Graff and Assistant Winemaker Corey Garner as we taste through our four distinct sparklers.

Saturday, May 9: Women in Wine Tasting
Join the women of Frank Family on Mother’s Day weekend. Leslie Frank along with Assistant Winemaker Corey Garner, Tasting Room Manager Zahava Kraicer, and Marketing Manager Marisa McCann will connect over the wine we love to drink with our moms while offering an intimate look into our winemaking practices and an education on four unique wine styles.

Saturday, May 16: Napa Neighbors Wine Tasting
Frank Family Vineyards, Chappellet Vineyard, and Regusci Winery are joining forces to bring you the ultimate taste of Napa experience. Join us for an afternoon of camaraderie with fellow vintners and good friends Rich Frank, Cyril Chappellet, and Jim Regusci. This is a rare opportunity to visit and taste with the owners of three iconic family-owned wineries. The tasting will be moderated by world-renowned Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, providing an intimate journey through the storied Napa Valley growing regions.
Saturday, May 30: Cabernet Sauvignon Retrospective Tasting
Experience a three-vintage tasting of Frank Family’s signature wine, the Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Together we will explore the evolution of a well-aged Cabernet, through some of our favorite vintages going back to 2008. Special guests include Winemaker Todd Graff and Director of Hospitality, Liam Gearity who will discuss the intricacies of aged wine from understanding what makes a wine age-worthy to determining a wine’s optimal aging time. They will also provide an overview of the Coravin wine preservation system, which is an optional add-on to this wine tasting package to give you the ultimate tasting experience.

Saturday, June 6: How to Make a Cheese Board Like a Pro Virtual Event
A well-thought selection of cheese and meat can introduce you to new flavors and unique sensations, especially when pairing them with wine. But how do you build an Instagram-worthy cheese and charcuterie board like a pro? Should cheeses contrast or complement each other? What wines pair best with different styles of meat and cheeses? What about pairing the accoutrements, such as nuts, jams, and fruits?
