We are confident the remarkable 2015 vintage will continue this legacy. Patiently aged for 21 months in French oak, the 2015 Patriarch is a symphony of structure and sophistication, with seamless layers of cassis, spiced plums, leather, and roasted espresso beans.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown of the Wine Advocate awarded the 2015 Patriarch with 95 points stating “it’s expressive with lovely balance, soft acid and velvety tannins, finishing long.”
The historic 2015 vintage was one of the smallest harvests in decades, which led to intensely flavored fruit, but smaller yields. As such, the 2015 vintage of Patriarch was the smallest we ever produced. This limited-production wine hails from our iconic Winston Hill Vineyard in Rutherford, where only the very best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are hand selected for this 100% varietal wine.
