This salty-sweet recipe is so easy to whip up and can be doubled to feed a crowd. Add a final drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of sea salt for the perfect homemade butter that will look as good as it tastes.

Ingredients
1 Stick | Unsalted butter, softened |
3 Tablespoons | Honey, raw and unfiltered is best |
¼ Teaspoon | Ground cinnamon (nutmeg or pumpkin spice also work) |
⅛ Teaspoon | Kosher salt or Maldon sea salt (plus more for garnish) |
Method
- In a measuring cup or mixing bowl combine the softened butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt.
- Using a hand mixer, whip the ingredients together until the butter is light and fluffy.
- Transfer the mixture to a small serving bowl. Lightly drizzle honey on top, followed by a dash of kosher salt or maldon sea salt.
- Serve promptly, or refrigerate for later (let the mixture come back to room temperature before serving). Butter can be kept, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
