Frank Family's new Miller House sets the perfect stage as we welcome Chef Ken Frank, the renowned chef and owner of one of Napa Valley's hottest dining spots, La Toque. Join us for an unforgettable evening that promises a culinary adventure, showcasing exceptional dishes and vibrant flavors that truly celebrate the best of the season.
Enjoy a sparkling wine reception with inspired hors d'oeuvres on the Miller House patio followed by a four-course dinner inside featuring an elevated menu of seasonal dishses. About Chef Ken Frank
Acclaimed Executive Chef Ken Frank is entirely self-taught and brings a distinctive, personalized touch to his contemporary French cuisine at the Michelin-starred La Toque restaurant, located in downtown Napa, California.
A trailblazer in seasonally driven fine dining, Chef Frank has been pursuing culinary excellence since his teenage years in France. He first gained national recognition in 1977 as the 21-year-old chef at La Guillotine Restaurant, where he was ahead of his time by focusing on the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Ken later became the original opening chef at Michael’s in Santa Monica, often credited as the birthplace of "California Cuisine."
In 1979, at just 23, he left Michael’s to open the first La Toque on the Sunset Strip. His goal was to create the kind of restaurant he believed in—authentic, creative, welcoming, and centered around delicious food. La Toque quickly became known for its focus on seasonality, exceptional hospitality, and thoughtful wine pairings. In 1998, Ken followed his passion for wine country and opened a new La Toque in Rutherford. After ten successful years, he moved the restaurant to its current location in downtown Napa’s Oxbow District at the Westin Verasa hotel.
