Frank for a Cause
In 2018, Frank Family Vineyards established the “Frank for a Cause” giving campaign as a philanthropic avenue to contribute to the well-being of the Napa Valley community and beyond. We annually select a different national charity to support covering a variety of causes, from health research to hunger relief, animal welfare, and more. To date, Frank for a Cause has supported seven national nonprofits and numerous local organizations.
Rich and Leslie’s Commitment to Community
Helping others was a core value that was instilled in both Rich and Leslie throughout their early lives. While growing up, charity was not taught or learned; it was simply a fact of life. Their parents each taught them humility, work ethic, and a giving nature that laid the foundation for which they have built Frank Family Vineyards. To this day, Rich and Leslie’s humble beginnings in Bayside, New York and Hamilton, Ontario guide Frank Family’s commitment to social responsibility and championing people and causes we love.

To commemorate World Ocean Month this June, Frank Family is excited to announce that the winery’s annual “Frank for a Cause” campaign will benefit 4ocean in its mission to help end the ocean plastic crisis. Through July 2025, proceeds from Frank Family’s Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Carneros Chardonnay as well as exclusive “Frank for a Cause” packages will fund the removal of at least 25,000 pounds of plastic and trash from the world’s oceans, rivers and coastlines.
