Napa Valley Merlot

Frank Family Vineyards has a long history of growing Merlot on our hillside and valley floor Rutherford properties, as well as sourcing Merlot grapes from several of our closest neighbors. Traditionally, we blend Merlot into Cabernet Sauvignon to add softness, a more rounded mouthfeel, and to create a layered flavor profile. But this renowned grape is also worthy to stand on its own. The 2018 vintage was such a glorious and abundant one, providing more than enough fruit for our winemaker Todd Graff to do what he does best: allowing the fruit to shine.
