"A graceful and focused red with blackcurrant, raspberry, orange peel and a hint of walnut husk. Full-bodied, focused and lightly chewy with a racy tannin structure. Polished and focused."
Our land, affectionately called, Winston Hill, sits 500 feet above the Napa Valley floor in Rutherford and provides structure, depth, complexity, and concentration, all hallmarks of an exceptional wine.
Always delicious to drink upon release, but extremely capable of extended aging, Frank Family’s Winston Hill is a mastery of fine winemaking and artful blending. Each vintage, Todd Graff sets out to create a cohesive, precisely crafted Bordeaux-style blend, using the finest fruit from our winery’s hillside vineyard in Rutherford. He must taste, trial, and blend to create a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts; a skill that requires experience, a keen sense of taste and smell, and most importantly, a goal. Todd’s goal is simple: to make the best wine that is the best expression of our land year after year.
