The elevated, seasonal menu is designed to reflect Napa Valley’s rich culinary landscape, with each course expertly paired with Frank Family’s most exclusive estate wines, including select large-format bottles and library selections from the cellar.

About Chef Alex Espinoza
Acclaimed Executive Chef Alex Espinoza brings a refined and innovative approach to Italian cuisine at Bottega Napa Valley, where he honors the restaurant’s legacy while adding his own signature dishes.

Born on a farm in Guatemala, Chef Alex discovered his love of cooking alongside his mother before moving to California at age 15. His professional journey began with a kitchen role at Tra Vigne, launching a decade of growth under celebrated chefs while balancing studies at the Culinary Institute of America.

He later honed his craft at Meadowood and Peju Winery, cooking for culinary icons including Jacques Pépin and Masaharu Morimoto. In 2021, he joined Bottega, and following the passing of founder Michael Chiarello, became the restaurant’s first Executive Chef beyond its founder, blending tradition with his own distinctive culinary vision.
